Church Interpreter Training Institute

The Mill Neck Family of Organizations in Mill Neck, NY, is offering a church interpreter program that will qualify for RID CEUs in Fort Wayne, IN. The program will take place June 13 to June 16 on the campus of Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, IN (6600 N. Clinton St.). The program will offer 2.0 CEUs. The cost for commuters is $200 and for residential students is $350 (with an additional $50 processing fee for those seeking CEUs). Deadline for registration is May 24, 2019. The Church Interpreter Training Institute (CITI) instructs American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters, church members and professional church workers in church interpreting. Our goal is to train our students to better serve Deaf people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to equip them for continued growth in faith and leadership in the Christian Church.
