General Description

The Deaf Member at Large is an elected member from deaf community with a state association or affiliates to serve on the ICRID Board. This member represents the views and intentions of deaf community. The intention is to keep communication flowing between deaf community and ICRID.

Term

This position is selected by IAD. Their election process is followed in the selection of the IAD Representative who will serve on the ICRID Board.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Duties for the IAD Representative include, but are not limited to:
• Act as liaison between IAD and ICRID and provide reports to both organizations
• Attend all board meetings, Annual Conferences, and special meetings as necessary
• Participate in all chapter objectives, projects, and task force activities
• Carry out duties and responsibilities assigned by the President
